Watch six of the most celebrated chefs in Britain: Raymond Blanc, Brett Graham, Ruth Rogers, Atul Kochar, Angela Hartnett and Fergus Henderson extol the virtues of British food in this film made for Visit Britain's Great Britain campaign in association with the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA). Food is Great celebrates the best of British food -- and is one of the central pillars of the initiative to attract businesses and visitors the Britain. The film was shown for the first time at a reception at 10 Downing Street on 30 April for 150 of the top chefs, restaurateurs and producers in the UK. Between them, the six chefs list roast chicken, Stilton, Roe deer, Cornish pasties, crumble and smoked salmon, as some of their favourite British foods. The Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) is a membership organisation helping 1000 UK restaurants become more sustainable and diners make more sustainable choices when eating out. The SRA helps its restaurants source food mo! re sustainably, manage resources more efficiently and work more closely with their community.
